Sam is renowned for her bright, colourful commissions, pet portraits including horse portraits as well as her quirky, contemporary original works of art. Born into a highly creative family, her father Richard Wills, also a professional artist, inspired Sam to follow her passion and his footsteps.

Contemporary, Original Art

Her contemporary art style focuses on using bold colour combinations to capture the moods, emotions and personalities of her subjects. Preferring to work with oil on canvas Sam creates stunning art on both a large and small scale. Current popular collections include Unicorns, Local Landscapes and Pencil Sketchings.

Commissions and Pet Portraits

Sam accepts Commissions and is happy to create pet portraits that meet your requirements, these can be from photographs, or in person if local to Cheltenham. Sam’s commissions include animals, horses, landscapes, homes and mythical creatures.  She also undertakes specialist art commissions and corporate work such as creating bespoke Christmas cards or digitally enhancing your images adding humour to your pets!

Notable works include; horse portraits for a local prominent breeder, horse and rider commissions, bespoke card designs and stationary.

Art Classes

Sam runs popular One on One Art Classes and group workshops for all ages. These usually take place at her beautiful Leckhampton home (advance booking is advisable) or in the surrounding beautiful Cotswold countryside. What a great way to learn a new skill or develop your creativity.
